You are right, we need to kill more pets.

Don't buy a new one, kill yours. Take a 12 gauge and kill all the cats in your neighborhood.

Either that, or maybe we can grind the unused pets into some sort of biofuel.

Since diesel is working out so well for our environment so far, I could see why you would be in favor of that.

Actually, caring for the way our nation treats animals directly effects our "starving children." We spend 70% of our grain to feed animals for meat consumption. Makes sense.

It's not the fault of the people who choose to purchase pets that there are homeless pets. The reason their are homeless pets is because of the irresponsible fuckers who make their pets homeless. Be responsible and get your pets fixed. Problem solved.

Just as it is not the infertile couples of the world responsibility to adopt all the unwanted kids in the world it not the responsibility of the people who chose to purchase pets to take in all the unwanted pets in the world.

Put blame where blame is due. On the irresponsible fuckers who made their pets homeless in the first place.

Re: Over 7 million homeless pets a year, and we still BUY pets?!
Its going to get bad for all those pets in a shtf event. most people have no spine. They will turn them loose as they think this will be a solution. I operated a kennel for years. I also raised German Shepherds. The nice long haired varieity. Beauties and big. I quit breeding a couple of years ago as I saw this SHTF event starting to shape up. I was always careful whom the dogs went to. Mostly acreage and never renters. Never renters.

Lots of my dogs are older now. I have five that are 12 and really showing their age. Lumps and bumps and arthritis and alike. Some need help onto the couch now and into the truck.

I have the vet coming next week and I've decided that better sooner than later. They are already kind of uncomfortable and I don't want to wait till I have to do it in haste. I would rather do it quiet and peaceful like than have to go get a gun.

I have three younger ones I'll be keeping but have a plan if need be. I think anybody with a pet better dummy up and think about what they would do in an emergency or SHTF event. Its not fair to them to put them thru and drag them around in less than ideal conditions just because we can't find the balls to dummy up and do right by them. Most people won't even think about it till its too late and then they will fuck it up because of that. I see alot of pets dieing in very bad ways at the hands of their owners cause they were to stupid to deal with it and think about it before hand.

Slaughter them...marinate them...and can them for the welfare recipients.

Done.

Some animals are homeless for a reason. A lot have isues or again have become wild. i rescued a dog, and it destroyed everything in my house/yard for 6 months.. i then paid $1,200 for a purebred german shepherd and shes the most well behaved and intelligent animal ive ever known.. I could leave the door wide open all day and she will just look out..

Gotta love those Shepherds. Smart. Loving and Loyal.

You have to feel for the ones that have been tossed around. I rescued many in my time with the kennel. Major attitudes on some of them but I'm a very pateint person and have places where they can't eat their way out of. They do grow up sooner or later but some breeds I would just never have here or own ever. We won't get into that. All I will say is a tierd dog is a happy dog.

Our dogs are our 4 legged kids...and like my 2 legged kids they will eat before we do... they are the most loyal, loving kids any one could have... they weigh 20 lbs each and we have supplies for them just like we do for us.
Anything else would not be thinkable.

I've taken in strays all the time from dogs to cats, even a coyote. I've never once have one misbehave and destroy things. I only see animals do this when their caretakers mistreat them and attempt to force them to do things. Animals have emotions just like people and most, like people, don't like being forced to do things.
