Find out if you have a bakery outlet store near you. I get bread there for $1.00 a loaf.

Milk is outrageous, see is rice or soy milk is any cheaper.

I can't afford these prices either, so I'm always trying to find a way to stretch a buck anyway that I can. It's hard.

My father used to tell me that only fools buy premade bread. He lived through the Depression and learned many cost-effective, healthy eating habits. Just buy a large bag of flour and make your own bread. You can add a dab of honey, zucchini, carrots, nuts... anything to enhance the flavor and freeze whatever you can't eat to preserve it. Way cheaper than buying crappy supermarket bread that goes stale in a couple of days.

Loaf of bread costs $35 million in Zimbabwe dollars.. We're heading in the same direction if we just sit & complain.

We've had plenty of opportunities to rise up.. instead we fall in lock-step with controlled opposition "Well, you know.. that's the government for ya." or "No sense complaining they'll just raise the prices again.."

Until we rise up and smash their printing presses.. they'll keep turning it out and pretending it's worth something.

Most people won't get it until they're wallet becomes a wheel-barrel.. & even then we'll still be hearing the same old response. "Well you know.. it is what it is."

opened it up this morning
and the slices had all these huge holes !!!

couldn't even really make a sandwich with it !

You can freeze your own homemade dough and it does not take long to thaw and it takes less than 30 mins too bake the bread,you can keep your own bread for 3 days easy and just bake 2 loves every few days,its realy easy too do this and you get better over time,its a skill you get too keep and pass on.

Couple weeks ago I bought a 10 lb. bag of Russet potatoes. It was on sale for 98 cents.

Ten fucking pounds! For 98 cents! Comes out to about 3,320 calories.

Same thing here in Aus.

Loaf of regular name brand bread...$3 to $5 dollars.

2 litre cartom of regular name brand milk..$4 to $5 dollars.

Homebrand stuff id about $3 dollars cheaper overall.

In any case..ya still need a tenner to get a loaf and a carton..and IF you get change its not much.
