To be truthful, Jesus never wrote down ANYTHING...

The bible was written about 300 years after he died!

He wrote in the sand. Secondly the bible is a collection of manuscripts which were already written. You are well out with your dates.

I'm assuming you all know the story of Ausar, Auset and Heru. But briefly, the God Ausar and the Goddess Auset were King and Queen in Kamit. Their brother, the God Set was jealous of Ausar and murdered Him. He took Ausar's body and threw it in the river. Auset was then removed from power and Set took over the rule of the country, reigning as a tyrant. Auset searched tirelessly for the body of Her Husband. When She found Him She performed ritual. Through ritual, the Spirit of the God Ausar came to Auset, and through Their Divine spiritual union Auset became pregnant with Heru (Khensu).

Of course, this is the origin of the story of Auset Merit (Mary)
being impregnated by the Holy Spirit of God the Father (Ausar) and conceiving the Son of God (Khensu/Hesus/Jesus). Auset was told by Tehuti (the God of Wisdom) that Heru would grow strong and defeat the rule of Set. Tehuti then directed Auset to hide in the swamps of North Kamit to raise the child in secret. Set (the red-evil one) was corrupted by the whites into Set-an/Satan/Shaitan, the red devil. He sought to kill Khensu Heru, because he knew that of the prophecy that Heru would grow to defeat Him and restore the kingdom of His Father Ausar.

How can anyone believe a book written by church leaders that were getting incredibly rich and powerful would say that Jesus was just a man like any other?

No, he HAD to be made a God so the only way for you to speak to him was through the church.

These people were about lies, control and power. And you are still buying it!

Come on dammit. Think for yourselves.

Satan is Gods Son.

God says we are all the children of the most high ...

Psalms 82:6 I have said, You are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.

That therefore includes Satan who Jesus says fathered the tares ...

Matthew 13:38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; (39) The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

The bible backs this up ...

Job 2:1 Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD.

God does not turn Satan away and neither does not deny he is his son!

In-fact this is what happens to Satan ...

2 Corinthians 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. [15] Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

I'm talking about the OTHER gospels, like the Gospel of Thomas and the Gospel of Mary Magdalene and many others.

The church did NOT like these because it made Jesus appear more like a man. Also, it presents to us that reincarnation was real.

And by the way the bible is a book of CODE written in symbolic language which most have no idea of the meaning.

The story's are myth but based on a hidden truth which is quite different to cover story which silly people take as being literal.

I agree with you OP. How can anyone make an informed decision based on only part of the whole story. As these books or gospels have yet to be included in any new printings of the bible it would seem that there is a deliberate omission of them. Would it not be prudent to include ALL of these scriptures? I would suggest, as you have OP, that the men who decide which to include and which to omit, have a motive for such. A true teacher would want their students to receive all literature on any given subject. Omissions of said scriptures would lead me to believe that they hold a knowledge which doesn't perpetuate the myths that have been preached from the bible for the past 1700 years.

Scholars have done a poor job in translating that verse what Jesus said and in fact there is nothing in the original manuscripts that suggest I AM should be capitalized but many translations of Bible do this to try to incorrectly infer that Jesus was quoting the Book of Exodus where YHWH says I AM who I AM(which a more direct translation would be " I will be who I will be") When Jesus says before Abraham was I am he means before Abraham existed the concept of a savior or a Christ (chosen one)existed.

He did say "If you've seen Me, you've seen the Father" and "My Father and I are one". Elsewhere, scripture says that in Him dwelt the fullness of God bodily, and Hebrews 1 calls Him the "express image" (Greek charakter) of God. That's good enough for me to subscribe to a Jesus = God premise.

The gnostic gospels include a book that was supposedly dictated by jesus himself. I am not saying i am buying into this. However when jesus refers to himself as god he is referring to the connection between us and the universe. It was definitely taken the wrong way. Got him killed so i hear. I don't normally engage in these conversations but i feel like rebelling.

You're missing the big idea. Let's erase Jesus and God and use another diety.

Zeus's half human son is a direct son of god. Unless you're a son of a god you're not like him; tough shit OP.

Respond or get the fuck out of here OP. You're not even setting a cohesive argument that we're all spiritual beings. Which is true. You waste time by comparing humans to demigods like Jesus.
 Quoting: Anonymous 1342725

I answered your question earlier. I am the Son of God! And so are you and every other human on this planet. We are just as capable of becoming as an advanced being as Jesus was if we follow his example. We can become another Jesus in time.

Again, he was just a man. A wise man, but a man.

John 10: [25] Jesus answered them: I speak to you, and you believe not: the works that I do in the name of my Father, they give testimony of me.

[26] But you do not believe, because you are not of my sheep. [27] My sheep hear my voice: and I know them, and they follow me.

[28] And I give them life everlasting; and they shall not perish for ever, and no man shall pluck them out of my hand.

[29] That which my Father hath given me, is greater than all: and no one can snatch them out of the hand of my Father.

[30] I and the Father are one.

[31] The Jews then took up stones to stone him. [32] Jesus answered them: Many good works I have shewed you from my Father; for which of these works do you stone me? [33] The Jews answered him: For a good work we stone thee not, but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, maketh thyself God.

[34] Jesus answered them: Is it not written in your law: I said you are gods? [35] If he called them gods, to whom the word of God was spoken, and the scripture cannot be broken;

[36] Do you say of him whom the Father hath sanctified and sent into the world: Thou blasphemest, because I said, I am the Son of God? [37] If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. [38] But if I do, though you will not believe me, believe the works: that you may know and believe that the Father is in me, and I in the Father. [39] They sought therefore to take him; and he escaped out of their hands.

Psalms 81:[6] I have said: You are gods and all of you the sons of the most High.

Corinthians 4:[09]:we are made a spectacle to the world, and to angels, and to men. [10] We are fools for Christ's sake, but you are wise in Christ; we are weak, but you are strong; you are honourable, but we without honour.

[11] Even unto this hour we both hunger and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no fixed abode; [12] And we labour, working with our own hands: we are reviled, and we bless; we are persecuted, and we suffer it. [13] We are blasphemed, and we entreat; we are made as the refuse of this world, the offscouring of all even until now.

Proverbs 23:[6] Eat not with an envious man, and desire not his meats: [7] Because like a soothsayer, and diviner, he thinketh that which he knoweth not. Eat and drink, will he say to thee: and his mind is not with thee.

[8] The meats which thou hadst eaten, thou shalt vomit up: and shalt loose thy beautiful words.

Job 18: [2] How long will you throw out words? understand first, and so let us speak.

[3] Why are we reputed as beasts, and counted vile before you? [4] Thou that destroyest thy soul in thy fury, shall the earth be forsaken for thee, and shall rocks be removed out of their place? [5] Shall not the light of the wicked be extinguished, and the flame of his fire not shine?

[6] The light shall be dark in his tabernacle, and the lamp that is over him, shall be put out. [7] The step of his strength shall be straitened, and his own counsel shall cast him down headlong. [8] For he hath thrust his feet into a net, and walketh in its meshes. [9] The sole of his foot shall be held in a snare, and thirst shall burn against him. [10] A gin is hidden for him in the earth, and his trap upon the path.

[11] Fears shall terrify him on every side, and shall entangle his feet. [12] Let his strength be wasted with famine, and let hunger invade his ribs. [13] Let it devour the beauty of his skin, let the firstborn death consume his arms. [14] Let his confidence be rooted out of his tabernacle, and let destruction tread upon him like a king. [15] Let the companions of him that is not, dwell in his tabernacle, let brimstone be sprinkled in his tent.

[16] Let his roots be dried up beneath, and his harvest destroyed above. [17] Let the memory of him perish from the earth and let not his name be renowned in the streets. [18] He shall drive him out of light into darkness, and shall remove him out of the world. [19] His seed shall not subsist, nor his offspring among his people, nor any remnants in his country. [20] They that come after him shall be astonished at his day, and horror shall fall upon them that went before.

[21] These men are the tabernacles of the wicked, and this the place of him that knoweth not God.

Re: Did Jesus ever say he was a God? Anywhere? In any book? No.
I will be greater than Jesus!

The bible says so ...

John 14.12 " Truly, I tell you, the one who believes in me (Jesus) will also do the works that I do and, in fact, will do greater works than these, because I am going to the Father.

John 1:12 But as many as received him, (Jesus) to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

was just gonna reply till i read down, ac u r correct as cuase hes the son .. yet theres the the father and son and holy spirit, yet some folks say holy ghost
I'm not sure if your asking the question but I will answer it anyway. Jesus did not say he was God as he was not God. He was God's Son and God sacrificed his Son for our Sin.
