I guess no one told them that they need to JOIN the Union ($1000+), AND pay union dues, EVEN if part time, and then the union can refuse to help if the worker gets in a dispute with a boss, AND can force workers to make contributions to political candidates the worker might NOT WANT to support!!

Labor is not the only expense. So the prices would not go up so much as you might think and the employees will be doing a bit better.

Price increases that you do see in the fast food arena may also be a boon to locally owned small scale dining establishments.
