Our language is the language which preceded the Indo-European languages in Europe. And our writing system is modern, and our grammar very logical. It is why mathematicians and mysticians like our language, because when we talk in Finnish, the words are same time ancient spells, they have a spiritual component in them. |

Quoting: andreidita Actually, we don't have a natural language. English as we know it now, for the most part, is only about 500 years old--and it was contrived. Shakespeare; Bacon; had something to do with that. All one has to do is study the other languages. We express almost everything backwards from many languages. It IS based on a logical language (Latin), but something gets lost in the translation, in fact, many concepts in other languages and cultures simply have no expression in the English language. In English, you can "love" your wife. You can also "love" a pizza. It doesn't take much to see that our language was contrived. |
