Anonymous Coward User ID: 1055574 United States 12/03/2012 12:28 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | There's no reason not to have a 3 day BOB (per person in your house) ready to go no matter what (and don't forget supplies for pets if you have any). You never know what the future will bring you. If you do it right, your BOB supplies won't go bad and you'll always be ready to bug out if you need to. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 28994841 United States 12/03/2012 01:02 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Just FYI - a BOB is not just meant for end of the world events. Even if your region has an unusual flood or series of tornados or if you live in a hurricane area ... you need to be able to leave the area quickly to a safer region. Whatever foods (power bars et al) and medicines (even tylenol and aspirin) you put in the bag, make sure you periodically rotate them out so your stock is always fresh. Keep one bag at home and one bag in the car. You never know where you might end up stranded or isolated. |
