And I'm not talking about just the pilots and cabin crew, but also the fuelers, rampers, mechanics, ground ops, flight ops...there are literally hundreds of thousands of civilian workers (some making minimum wage and would have little to lose) that could blow this story up. And yet there hasn't been? I would think for some poor schmuck that lost his job this could be a financial windfall! |

I work in the industry know that there couldn't be a secret this big kept under wraps for very long. Most employees of the airlines these days are disgruntled over pay cuts and working conditions, so there would be very little to keep someone wrongfully terminated from outing this. The ranks of disgruntled employees would include pilots who would know what is going into the airplane that they legally sign liability for before each flight |
