1 Meter Tsunami 7.3 EQ Off Japanese Coast ; 53 After Schocks!

finally someone found the dates. ok so all of you saying patrick geryl was right are tards. he was 2-3 days off.

Most tsunamis are comprised of a series of crests and troughs called a “wave train” and have a leading wave followed by crests that push it from behind. Damages is not caused so much by huge wall of water crashing down like a large beach wave but rather by a surge of water than pushes far inland. The waves comes in series, sometimes with many minutes passing from one to the next.


Waves a meter high can severely damage houses. A two-meter-high tsunami can destroy wooden buildings. Often the damage caused by receding waves being sucked to the sea is more severe than that caused by advancing waves. Receding waves can also drag people far out to sea.

Normally you can't stand when the Water is above ca. 20 Cm,
but what i learned in Khao Lak is that it is the stuff inside
of the Water that is killing everyone,
it is like a Meat Grinder!

TEPCO:

At around 5:18 PM on December 7, an earthquake (seismic intensity of 4) occurred in Hamadori region in Fukushima Prefecture.

No problem is found with the monitoring post data, Units 1-6 main plant parameters, accumulated water transfer, water treatment etc.

Currently, no injury has been reported due to the earthquake.

Maximum acceleration observed was 26.2 Gal (horizontal direction) at the foundation ground at Unit 6 Reactor Building.

We will continue investigating the conditions of the equipments/facilities in the power station.

The usual prosedure after a big one is a couple strong aftershocks within 2 hours and then smaller ones, with two or there bigger in some days.. then only small ones and it settles down.. I hope it will follow this.

on the ticker at the top of the news page someone posted it states a meter high tsunami has come ashore. God bless those people. So sad.
