Huge Fireball seen across the sky in Southern California.

Hi no I'm in S NV. Vegas area. How big and going in what direction?

Some people have mentioned it on twittet.

In Huntington Beach and San Diego.

It looked like it was going North East. We were able to hear it burning. Very strange green color and it flashed for a few seconds. Never seen anything like it.

YES! It was awesome. I've never seen a meteor before. Looks like that's what it might of been. Had no idea you could hear them too.

I saw it. I'm in the NW Phoenix area. I was at the dog park late with a friend and we were talking and looking around and by chance we both said "hey, did you see that? What the hell was it?

I don't remember the exact time, but it was kind of late and the lights were off because it was after the park closes. That way you avoid all the idiots who don't fix their aggressive dogs and bring them to the park to start fights. (it's no wonder that AZ has one of the lowest academic ratings in the country).

But we definitely both saw it, from hundreds away of miles away across the desert, NE of San Diego.

There are no people in So Cal who know how to use the camera on their cellphones

I have pictures.... actually 4 of them. This was not meteor! I was driving my mother back to Las Vegas from California when she spotted this thing out her side window. She kept looking out the window saying a giant ball of light/fire was hovering in the air and following us. After 10 minutes of this nonsense I told her to take a few pictures and I would look at them when we got to her house. She took four pics and put away her phone. 10-15 minutes later my mom was still saying this thing was hovering in the air.

3 hours later we get to her house and I completely forget about this until yesterday when my mom brought it up again. I took a look and was pretty amazed.


I will post pic once i figure out how to do it here or if thats not allowed on this site tell me where to post them so all of you, including this guy that wants to see a picture or its not real, can see actual photos of this. This thing that was not a falling meteorite. Meteorites dont hover in the air for 30-40 minutes!!!!!
