Our next great evolution will be when we merge with machines.

There is no such thing as a "Pinnacle" of evolution.

Everything on earth is constantly evolving.

Drugs in the food, water, and air keep them placid enough, and obsessed with trinkets and television programming.

They're running programs. Their behavior hacked.

Hard to blame all of us. Nobody is innocent.

^^ This. Evolution is not about 'optimization'.

Do I think that we, as a species, act in a way that maximizes our potential? Not often. Capitalism, fear, and ego tend to get in the way.

Re: Is this really the pinnacle of human evolution?
You need to watch Professor Walter Veith rip evolution a new one...

Evolution: The Biggest Lie Ever Sold (The Genes Of Genesis by Walter Veith)

[link to www.youtube.com]

consider, for example, that the rate of soil erosion of the Himalayas is estimated at 2 meters every 1,000 years and science says that the mountains are still rising due to tectonics... so they remain pretty tall... however, if fossil records are millions of years old, there would be no fossil record... do the math...

then you have massive evidence that most fossils are the result of some kind of immediate catastrophe, since fish decay very rapidly and though we have examples of man-made tools and hats fossilizing in a few hundred years, we have no modern examples of fish fossils and some of the ones we do have contain fish in their mouths like the mammoths found frozen with food in theirs...

we also have t-rex bones with blood cells... implying more recent demise than millions of years... evidence that man and dinosaurs co-existed...

then watch his presentation on evolution and dna and it becomes even sillier...

we are, if anything, devolving from a golden age...

and consider giants... and this interesting TED speaker on giants: [link to youtu.be]

Re: Is this really the pinnacle of human evolution?
Fossil fuels are like crack to humanity. They have allowed us to live at warp speed for the last 150 years or so. Like a crack high, it feels good but erodes fundamental health. The good news is they will run out sometime in the next couple of hundred years and then it will be back to business as normal: small communities, lower population, traditional values, and so on. Getting from here to there is going to be hairy because there will be a huge die-off but the will come out stronger and healthier on the other side.

good analogy. I hope you're right with your recovery diagnosis.

One of the saddest elements of this is that the people (and animals) that didnt use any crack feel (and will continue to feel) the symptoms of withdrawal the most strongly.

No, it's the ending of another era of a king's rule. This time though, it's not a single king. And most of them have nothing to do with monarchy, only wealth with power. Shortly after this passes, the best is yet to come. Beyond what most can imagine, actually.

Well that's a plutocracy, Pluto has always existed behind that Piscean monarchy disguise for about 2k years. It will continue to exist btw, though under 'one world government' scheme now in the age of Aquarius.

Yes we are at the current pinnacle of human evolution.
It would be nice of we were a kinder creature, but then we would not be what we are. Maybe we will evolve into something different, but probably not because we are now in process of taking some controls of our future evolution.

Not it ways most can imagine. It is nearing the time for Plutocracy to move out of humanity, allowing democracy and humanitarianism to grow at a much greater rate in this digital age of Aquarius we're entering.

Ummm...that is only the pinnacle of the white culture evolution.

Native American and Native Australian cultures etc, were way more evolved than this shit white culture that has been forced all of us through invasion and colonisation.

White culture needs to stop being practiced immediately because it's dumb and evil as fuck.
