Again. These observations just keep coming in. I've noticed something being out of place too, starting this summer. The most obvious changes had to do with the color of suns' light, as well as the direction / angles it's shining to my yard and the house. For example, my kitchen (that's in a dark northern/eastern corner of my house) never had sunlight coming directly in from the window. Last summer was very different, and although I didn't take that too seriously back then (though I must just had overlooked that somehow), now combined with everything else it fits the picture perfectly. Something has changed, or rather several things. Very interesting to see what comes out of this all! <3 |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 18725862 Netherlands 12/11/2012 05:25 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This means that in the middle of a UK summer, when the North Pole is tilted towards the sun, the sun will rise north of east, and we are not talking about a couple of degrees. It will be close to northeast in Britain in late June. Similarly in late December it will rise much closer to southeast than east. The difference between sunrise directions in midsummer and midwinter is a whopping 90 degrees! Anonymous Coward User ID: 923464 United Kingdom 12/11/2012 05:25 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I agree with you OP... I've watched the sun rise every morning for the past 11 months (we have a 11 month old son... Hence the early mornings), it is most definately rising more south then SE. We have a south facing garden and it rises about 15 degrees off actual south. The sun is still shifting more south as the days go on... Starting from a perfect east position at summertime... I'm glad others are noticing it aswell... It's one to keep an eye on!! |
