Violent video games are a young male response to disempowerment. Men need to be re-empowered to enforce law within their communities and defend their loved ones. Encouraging gun ownership would help.

Banning video games is not the answer. Returning power to local communities and empowering young men is the answer.

I love my black ops, dont ban games until GTA 5 though please. I beat far cry last week and it was pretty fun, i loved the bow in that game and shooting people in the face. Shanking people in the back.

Yes, because before computers the world wasn't violent at all and was simply full of unicorns, rainbows and butterflys.

Violent videogames and movies should only be available for adults, 18+.

Violence is far worse than pornography.

The thought of first-person shooter games where youth can simulate shooting sprees does come to mind when you see these massacres.

But there is the argument: "Guns don't kill people, people kill people."

My riposte to that is "No gun, no shooting."

the cure is not in banning anything. ban video games, guns, ammo, soda, violent movies. guess what cocaine is illegal but you can still buy it. all banning things does is put it directly in the wrong person's hands

People are living in self-isolation. Instead of getting together with friends, people go home and talk via the computer. they are forgetting how to read body language and react to other's reactions because life is being livied detached from others. It isn't just the games. We are losing our humanity.

People will argue that this scene was supposed to make you feel bad or make you hate one of the characters, but in all honesty, (when I played the game) I didn't really feel that.

They will kill and kill..like they do in the games.

And if they are good enough they might even get a "MONSTER KILL" before their turn to be gibbed comes up.
