But America doesn't want God in their lives anymore: we have kicked Him out of our schools, out of our public, out of our government and even some of our religions; yet you expect Him to drop in and save the day-as long as you're not forced to accept the aspects of His grace that you don't like. I've been reading the posts on this thread and it's sad. You guys still don't get it. Time is almost up. Then you enter into the spiritual reality. You guys have paid attention to material things instead of spiritual things. He died so you wouldn't go to prison because that is what Hell is. You are an image of God so he expects you to be holy. But you can't because of sin. So he died for your sins that you wouldn't go to that prison. He has sent the helper to make you holy. Who is the Holy Spirit. He comes within you and changes you to dislike and hate sin. He knew you couldn't do it on your own. So he came in flesh that the curse of original sin would be broken. Heaven is your true nature the divine nature. Earth is the place of testing that's why it's so harsh, and also why you have a sinful nature. Hell is a prison because you failed the creator of being as he is since you are in his image. He is Just but if you denied his son you are condemned, because you denied his gift to you. You refused God and chose the other one. You can't be on the sidelines.

one shooter killed two dozen people, but how about a God that tells Hebrews to slaughter whole towns?

what would you think if that went on today? what do you say about thousands of Hebrews storming a town and shooting all the little children in every school? and every last man, every last boy, and all the women who were not virgins? so there is not one person left in the entire town, just bloody dead bodies all over that they shot?

there was evil to begin with. we got rid of it. it is nowhere bad as it used to be. it is not getting worse, relatively speaking.

What about protecting the children that didn't/don't have a choice???

I was thinking all day how much i wish our creator would have intervened and stopped this. Then I went through the usual well we have free will and the creator will not take action because of that. But in the end I just will believe and have faith that this evil act will be dealt with and that those children are embraced and now at the side of our lord.
