The deceased were buried with an obolus, placed in the mouth of the corpse, in order that, once a dead person's shade reached the underworld of Hades, it would be able to pay Charon for passage across the river Acheron. Legend had it that those without enough wealth, or whose friends refused to follow proper burial rites, were forced to wander the banks of the Acheron for one hundred years...

[link to en.wikipedia.org]

Note:

The word "obolos", also "obelos" or "odelos" in other dialects, means a long thin metal nail or rod, such as a spit.

In other words "obelisk"...

[link to en.wikipedia.org]

Therefore, an Obelisk could be a symbol of a 'price to be paid' or 'sacrifice'.

unclemikey-84

Ahem...

The Hebrew letter VAV means nail or HOOK.

A VAV looks like the masonic square the person in the center is holding...

unclemikey-317

Children placed on top of a VAV are in danger of being "hooked"...

unclemikey-305

unclemikey-306

Vav is used in the Hebrew language as the conjunction "and", which ties well with its other meanings "Hook or Nail" as the "link" between the "above" and the "below"... (great work).

In order to make the "Sand" vibrate into the proper frequency... you need the right "Hook".

The Masons are looking for the "Lost Word" or "VAV" that ties everything together.

So now we know that VAV = Hook = Masonic Square.

What about Sandy? How can we connect that to a compass?

Stay tuned...

Charon is depicted frequently in the art of ancient Greece. Attic funerary vases of the 5th and 4th centuries BC. are often decorated with scenes of the dead boarding Charon’s boat. On the earlier such vases, he looks like a rough, unkempt Athenian seaman dressed in reddish-brown, holding his ferryman's pole in his right hand and using his left hand to receive the deceased. Hermes sometimes stands by in his role as psychopomp

[link to en.wikipedia.org]

Psychopomps: from the Greek word psuchopompos, literally meaning the "guide of souls")[1] are creatures, spirits, angels, or deities in many religions whose responsibility is to escort newly deceased souls to the afterlife.

The Greek god Hermes, the messenger of the gods, would take the dead soul of a person to the underworld (sometimes called Hades or the House of Hades).

Hermes would leave the soul on the banks of the River Styx, the river between life and death

Lol @ the artist who's corrupting the angel's reputations. Raphael has a Staff yes, but that's quite a jump to a Caduceus. I think the New Agers are playing tricks here.

Raphael means "It is God who heals"... not the Magickian.

Also...

"Raphael is sometimes shown as standing atop a large fish or holding a caught fish at the end of a line"

[link to en.wikipedia.org]

No mention of a Caduceus.

I notice the artist puts stars around their heads. I think the artist may be under the influence of a certain 'Moon Goddess'...

:moonstars:

On second thought, maybe I should, um, 'embrace' his philosophy...

Dude!!!

You just seriously read my mind!

OMG. I was going to upload that.

Look at the fish on the bottom of the angel on the Coat of Arms...

[link to upload.wikimedia.org]

unclemikey-323

I think the two bears represent Luke (Ox) and John (Eagle).

The 'fish' make me think it's reaffirming a Christian connection.

gasp

I truly believe there has been a Global Conspiracy to Genetically Engineer the 'One' for a very long time now.

In the case of that Coat of Arms, I would guess they are trying to make "The One" in the center... the 'White Horse'. I was atonished that the little cross that the lamb was holding matched with the chair.

He has a little Staff waiting for him too I guess.

uhoh

Whoa... I just noticed that the Green Dragon in the Rebis image is like the Green Lion 'eating the Sun' (VITRIOL/Acid purifying matter)... and it's ready to dissolve the planet!

rebis

Note that the Green Lion sometimes has seven stars or 'seals' that it must 'break'...

green lion

In other words, it's like a global 'self destruct' mechanism, related to the Seven 'Vials of Wrath' of Revelation.

sfan

Is it trying to devour the Christ Child?

wtf

Billy's got a gun, he's on the run
Confusion in his mind, the blind leads the blind
Oh, Billy's got a gun, he's gonna shoot ya down
He's got evil in his eyes, got a reason to despise
There's danger in the air

Can you feel it in the air
There's danger in the air, danger
Such a strange emotion
Can you feel it in the air

Oh he was locked inside a room without a door
His innocence he suffered for
In a world of black and white, they were wrong and he was right
Just looking for a clue, it's a nightmare come true
He's going underground to track that danger down
Oh Billy, hey why you got that gun?

Can you feel it in the air
There's danger in the air, danger
Such a strange emotion
Can you feel it in the air
Oh Billy

Never give him an even break
Gettin' caught is the chance you take
It could be your last mistake
You could be so helpless
As a bird with a broken wing
Like a sheep in a lion's den
Gonna fall but you won't know when
He's gonna get you

You hear footsteps in the night, see shadows on the wall
And the ghostly sound of silence, as the mist begins to fall
Then a scream rang out like thunder, but the lightning was too late
As the rain came down on the crimson ground
It was the hand of fate
And a crowd of people gathered round, but Billy couldn't wait

Can you feel it in the air
There's danger in the air, danger
Such a strange emotion
Can you feel it in the air?
Yeah, Billy's on the run

Oh, you better run
Never gave him an even break, better run
Gettin' caught is the chance you take, you better run
It could be your last mistake
Yeah Billy's got a gun
As a bird with a broken wing, oh Billy
Like a sheep in a lion's den, oh Billy
Gonna fall but you won't know when, yeah Billy's out
He's gonna get you

Crying back to consciousness
The coldness grips my skin
The sky is pitching violently
Drawn by shrieking winds
Seaspray blurs my vision
Waves roll by so fast
Save my ship of freedom
I`m lashed helpless to the mast
Remembering when first I held
The wheel in my own hands
I took the helm so eagerly
And sailed for distant lands
But now the sea`s too heavy
And I just...I just don`t understand
Why must my crew desert me?
When I need...I need a guiding hand...
Call out for direction
And there`s no one there to steer
Shout out for salvation
But there`s no one there to hear
Cry out supplication
For the maelstrom is near
Scream out desperation
But no one cares to hear
