Are you sure of what you are stating? He admited to have been wrong, and sorry about it!!!!!!! This was even before Dec 21st came and went without even a minor solar flare!!!

From the article I gather that the Geryl is more than ashamed, and feels almost like he is retiring now.

I still think his science was right. He only erred with the dates. Anyways, the universe always like surprises. Things will happen when anyone least expects.
