You process experience...it's a space you have to create in the mind to process experience at a rate faster than "normal"...

It's hard for me to explain...it will make me sound like a non emotive psychopath probably but emotionally people suffer because they can't process/cope with emotions fast enough to avoid the effect of suffering...

If your thought process works fast your reconciliation between experience and memory storage is near instant...

That's why it's a symptom of the human condition...I think things like suffering are necessary...we were created to experience suffering (among a range of other emotions etc)...we were also given the tools to bypass the necessity for it as well...we choose to use them...or not.

Yes, and so you end up blaming god / the universal self for causing suffering, and there's no way out of that.

Essentially you're forced to posit a malevolent god, against which you cannot win.

Suicide is not a bypass for suffering...it's a choice to end an experience that contains a symptom called suffering that has many ways to bypass or cope with it...

You have to understand first that we aren't living in an inescapable torturous environment...it's an ability...you have to learn to see ways thru obstacles that don't necessarily exist anywhere except in your own mind.

Well...are you the type to wallow in your own self pity or do you recover from situations of downfall quickly...you know, your coping skills, how you process emotions when bad shit happens to you? Like how quick can you get over stuff without wasting your days in unproductive emotion like suffering and misery? Hope that's more clear...

Well that really depends on the circumstances. In general, I get up on my feet quickly.

Well...my only experience of guantanamo bay was of blue waters and beautiful sun but I'm assuming you're meaning is of prisoner torture and abuse.

And that kind of environment isn't inescapable...I mean I get your question...but the mind is capable of more than most give it credit for...most people just don't utilize it to it's potential.

The human body is capable of amazing feats of physical abuse...and can recover...the mind is where we survive stuff like that though...and thru a reconciliation process we can either use or not we can survive anything without the emotional scarring that would eventually exist when we ignore where we are (escape reality).

The topic of suffering, though important, is better understood when you know yourself and how you process outside influences like others actions toward you etc...

Knowing you are not a puppet is I guess like a first step...
So rather than debate suffering...I'd prefer to focus on the original intent of my post...
