FYI Greece is not governed by Greeks the last 3 years, this is international criminal banking cartel, EU and IMF war-mongering that want to push the 2 countries in to a conflict after they sold to both of the countries billions and billions worth of weapons. Parallels with the 1967 CIA imposed military coup that led to Cyprus invasion are obvious for me. |

Don't get me wrong, it's Greece's and Cyprus right to do whatever they want in their seas according to intl. law despite the threats, but i would prefer if this was happening under different circumstances and not with IMF/ECB governing both Greece and Cyprus to serve their geopolitical agenda in the region. |

The Turkish govt is going really out of hand regarding liberties and freedoms lately, but after jailing the "deep state" officials Erdogan has no opponent anymore, he can do whatever he wants without asking no one. All these things are happening to provoke Turks in to a conflict so TPTB can dismember Turkey into pieces, it's an obvious trap and at some point i do think that they will react against either Syria, Cyprus, Greece, etc, they practically have bad relations with all of their neighboring countries despite the Davutoglu BS "zero-problems" failed policy, even Turks have criticized his policy a lot lately. Add the Kurds into the equation, peace/ceasefire negotiations with Ocalan the last month which seem to be going well according to the press. |

They expanded their own nautical miles in Black Sea and Med though and they threaten Greece with war if she'll do the same since 1995, they consider the Aegean a special case but the truth is that they just want a piece of the pie of the Aegean and Cypriot oil/natgas. |

We do not think of working in problematic areas in Aegean. In the scope of friendship of both countries, we made positive steps in the past. We will maintain this." [link to www.aa.com.tr] |

So on April 27, 2012 they published in the Turkish Official Gazette the decision of the Council of Ministers of 16 March 2012 granting the Turkish State Oil Company (TPAO) licenses for hydrocarbon exploration (2012/2802, 2012/2968, 2012/2973, 2012 / 2974, 2012/2975, 2012/1753). These permits relate sea areas off of Adana, Antalya, Antioch and Mugla and include pieces Greek continental shelf south of Rhodes, Karpathos, Kastellorizo, and pieces of the Cyprus EEZ. Since big oil companies won't do Turkey the favor they decided to buy their own 3D seismic vessel named Polarcus for this cause and they expect to start exploration inthe first months of 2013. [link to www.upstreamonline.com] Greece is expected to respond with lots of big military drills in the related regions, one of them with Israeli air-force from what i've read recently. Turksih president Gul in a recent interview 4 days ago said that Turkey has a "right" in the Cypriot EEZ and energy deposits. This is much, much worse, especially when Turkey is under pressure with the Kurds and their soon-to-be declared "Kurdistan". If Turkey decides to go full retard and with the Muslim Community in Thrace, then expect direct involvement from both Bulgaria and Russia. |
