Increased number of state troopers lately...

What state OP?

I cant say that I have noticed any more then normal in NC and I have driven cross state recently.

Yes in VA I have seen a lot more then I ever have it sucks but I always see them before they see me.

I started noticing an increase in presence one week ago in NC, particularly with State Troopers.

Same time frame up here in MA too. I wonder if it's related to the frequent shootings.

Nope. In fact, it seems to be on the decrease for statey's and locals.

In my line of work, I tend to see them quite often...

Huh, no kidding. Well, I'm south of Worcester, Whitinsville to Franklin is my commute.. It just seems weird.

well i sure noticed it this morning.

normally on my commute i dont see any law enforcement in a certain area. i mean i NEVER see anyone pulled over. well this morning i saw 3...all pulled over by the highway patrol (NC's version of state troopers)

Maybe they are out ticketing trying to meet some quotas?
