Quoting: Please be serious 32076855 I'm considering god, but need a rational reason to actually believe. I would never take blind faith, as you could end up in any religion just dependant on the influence around you. Anyway, I'm searching, but need a rational way to decide. Start studying bible prophecy with the intent of disproving it. You'll end up becoming a believer. |

I'm not hardcore any religion, but any rational mind has to believe in a greater power. Consciousness is a trip. It was no accident. Good luck trying to get to the bottom of it though. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 2898037 United States 01/25/2013 07:09 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | God is not a person. God is quantum. The very fabric of our reality is mathematically vetted holographic. In true reality, our existence is a holographic simulation, like in a computer, albeit infinitely more complex. Incomprehensibly complex to the simple physical human brain. Since our reality is a simulation, there must be a program. A computus. With open contemplation the Computus is perceivable in all things. Even a rock. Each 'thing' having its own right and its own purpose. It's own energy, and it's own vibration. The program is a writ of laws. Not judgements. Judgements are reserved for the beings of the Bible, who are not the Computus. They are beings and they are frauds. The the gears of the quantum machine grind slowly and do not micro-manage. Like gravity, corrections are made for ill intent. Rewards are granted for righteousness. But these laws operate over a span of time our human perception perceives as epochs. Each of our perceptive localities helps to conduit these laws so that they are more perfectly orchestrated. Each of us regulates our own karma on a micro scale via our higher quantum wave field. When we dispose of our physical suit, we return to and mesh in with the frequencies of the Computus. The highest resonance being love. |

Then I want to know which god/ belief system. All based on rational thinking and fact. Why should people follow a god if there is no evidence of his/ hers/ its existence. How can a god punish people for not believing in something that doesn't add up or hold any weight in reality. You can't be within reson to change your life around for something you don't have evidence for. Emotions are not valid as proof. Coincidences don't equal miracles. Why should I believe? |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1034800 United States 01/25/2013 07:20 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Seems to me you are agnostic, not a staunch atheist if you are questioning whether you should believe in a god or not. As for "which god" you should seek the True God, the Creator of everything, the God of love. To do that, you need to talk to God Instead of asking us, you can ask God the exact same question you are asking us. Just say, "God, the True God, the God of love, the Creator of all, I've been wondering if you exist or not, please make yourself known to me if you exist" Keep saying it, keep seeking. Soon you will start to notice little helps and "synchronicities" happen in your life. "Why?" you say? Because you want to know, you just asked, so you must want to know. The only way you are going to find out is to ask God. Seek God first, and don't worry about the rest for now. Let God reveal the truth to you. |

I believe Carl Jung has had some good things to say about it. Also, this ( [link to www.biologyofkundalini.com] ) site is more scientific than the vast majority of self-professed "Science Journals". |

A true atheist has no intrinsic value for life by definition. So are you truely denying a higher order or are you just an antagonist? Prove it by suicide. |

Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 32076855 United Kingdom 01/25/2013 07:30 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Atheism is a claim to absolute knowledge of the existence or rather, lack thereof, of god. No logical person would make this claim. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 3342108 Well, actually it's not as simple as that. I person could be an atheist and have doubts leading to questions on whether god exists. Now, in a strict sense of the word that means the atheist title is gone, but he still identifies by it. So your right, but there is logic. The word Atheist is debated on what it means. Richard Dawkins has changed what he calls himself several times because of that. |
