The amount is based on social security number and level of aid. Quoting: CE Aero Now it breaks to commercial. Hrm, anyone else catch that? I take two now, a thyroid and sleeping one. Uhm, I don't get it. Do you expect free meds or something? Not in our profit-driven joke of a healthcare system. Only a purely socialistic healthcare system, with no big corporations pulling the strings, is humane. But it won't happen in this world...any time soon... And the screwing of the common man continues... |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 27704375 United States 01/27/2013 01:30 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Why does this matter? Doesn't everyone already PAY for RX meds anyway? I mean I Know for a fact even people on Medicare/aid have to pay 'something' for their meds. People who have insurance have to pay too. It would be nice if it was more standardized like in the UK. Some of the drugs "Big Pharma" takes us for a ride on are literally the cheapest in the book yet we time and time again get charged 100's of over priced dollars for them. |

Most existing insurance plans don't pay 100% of prescriptions. I've never been on a plan that pays 100% of anything. Starting last year, my prescription plan requires $250 yearly deductible for prescriptions (separate & on top of medical care deductibles) in addition to the prescription co-pays. Used to be NO prescription annual deductible, just the usual co-pays which have also gone up a bit. Insurance plan administrators say lucky it has increased only this much so far. Itisnot a tax where everyone pays a little. Just like home owners; the full load of the school costs fall on the home owners only. Now the full load of medical costs fall on the working stiffs only. This is slavery. |

So comrade, what is the motivation that drives individuals to develop newer and better drugs? Can't be profits. Can't even be building the share price of corporations, because your retardocracy eliminates both. What government school did you get your brainwashing from? Do you know why people go to Mexico or Canada to get their scripts filled? Simple the same drugs by the same companies cost much less. Americans pay much more for drugs because of a deal with big pharma that forces us to pay more to help offset the cost that the FDA demands from the drug testing regimen. Drugs completely developed in other countries still have a premium to purchase here. Cronyism with big business, big business and TBTF has been costing the middle class for a very long time. |

Fred User ID: 33128068 United States 01/27/2013 02:09 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Good. We need a little bit of personal responsibility thrown in with medical care. That few dollars of out of pocket may make people ask the doctor if they really need yet another pill. Sometimes the answer will be "well not really", less money spent on health care, less damage from unneeded prescriptions. |

Also what are your TSH T3 and Free T4 levels. These should be checked regularly for dosage and effectiveness. |
