The ISS has the means to move itself around. Satelites don't. They say it won't hit but could play around with Gravity and maybe bang off a good Earthquake or somthing.

I hope it creates some kind of headache for sombody. I'm Bored.

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 5366990

Calling people who proof you wrong shill is a tradition around here.

You do realise of course that everybody is at liberty to point their own telescopes at any celestial body and do their own calculations.
The orbital elements calculated by the MPC (international body) are based on observations with telescopes owned by NOAO (US government), by the Messrs. Hunter and McGaha in Arizona (private citizens), and by Observatorio Astronómico de Mallorca (provincial government).

So which government is covering anything up?
And why would they want to?
An early warning could save thousands of lives.

Do you have eyes to see, ears to hear and a heart to understand? JESUS CHRIST is the ONLY WAY to SALVATION, DELIVERANCE and PEACE! Soon his grace will be taken from the earth and his WRATH will be poured out. Accept JESUS CHRIST while the GRACE of GOD is still available. May the Peace of God be with you! Love, Pray, Repent and Forgive.

All potentionally hazardous near earth objects are classified by the DOD! So, if you hear about any comet/asteroid/whatever on the internet you know it's going to be BS and nothing will happen!

I wonder if it were to hit one of the larger satellites would that be enough to alter it's orbit, and possibly send it into Earths gravity field?
