BRIEF User ID: 381742 United States 01/29/2013 05:09 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I've struggled with that question myself. As much as I love to play blackjack, I can't bring myself to go to the casino because I believe it is sin. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 29232331 I know a guy that plays blackjack and uses his winnings to buy and give away Bibles...it's his hobby as he is retired. I never forgive and I never forget I am a licensed firearm holder. I will, under protection of law, use lethal force if attacked. |

And, I could never really understand how playing these games translated to sin. I have won many times. And, everytime it was a blessing from God. In the old testament, did they not 'cast lots'? This is a form of gambling/chance. And, yet they did it still. If someone could definitively answer whether or not this is wrong or not, it would be greatly appreciated. |

BRIEF User ID: 381742 United States 01/29/2013 05:35 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It's stupid if you do it to try to make extra money, because people who need extra money typically don't have the intellect to win consistently...playing the lottery is stupid, but with card games and even slot machines you have a mathematical advantage...
