You need to do some reading on Weston Prices work: [link to www.healingteethnaturally.com] check that sites out too its pretty good. it does sound like you have an infection trapped in there. Usually a normal dentists will clean out the roots(filing the canals) again and again until they'think' theres no infection left. Antibiaotics sometimes dont work if youd had heaps of them or the infection type changes. You can try some natural antibiotic remedies like taking colloidal silver, vitC/zinc, garlic, etc. Youll know your really in trouble if you get an abcess that doesnt form a pimple on the gum and cant drain. have the put a crown on the root canal?how many times have they filed/cleaned the roots? did you have an abcess/pain before you had root canal?did it form an abcess that drained? |

Pain medication helped temporarily. I was sure that I needed another root canal. After hearing about oil pulling I decided to give it a try before going to the dentist. I began oil pulling three times a day. By the very next day the pain was gone! No soreness, nothing. I was shocked. I continue to oil pull and my teeth are whiter and healthier looking then they have ever been. My gums have stopped bleeding, they used to bleed after every brushing. They are no longer receding and my teeth feel tighter. On my last visit to the dentist he was amazed at how much better my teeth and gums looked. He told me to continue to do whatever I was doing. Cod liver oil added to diet. butter, eggs cheese organic grass fed meats. no sugar, flour etc. supplements;vitC,calcium, magnesium ,zinc, co-enzymeQ10, K2,coderliver oil for A/D, extra vit D, vit b. also add loads of garlic, ac vinegar(diluted with water drunk through a straw, chlorophyll(if you dont get enough greens), cayenne pepper, for a sweetner use manuka honey for added medicinal purposes. also have a look around this guys site. This root canal (bottom molar) was first done a year ago (it was supposed to be a filling, but after dentist prepped it for a filling, it became sensitive to the touch, so dentist started a root canal. There were shooting nerve pains right after the procedure, so he sent me to a specialist) Specialist finished the root canal and sealed it. I took antibiotics at that time. Tooth never settle for a year (always tender, especially when pressing on sides). So finally, it was retreated 2 months ago, special medicine was put in it twice (it was cleaned out at least 3 times by a specialist - one of the times it was cleaned, there was a lot of throbbing pain in the gum/tooth right after - so I had to take strong antibiotics). It got better, but still was tender like before, but a week ago, it suddently got weird pains when eating/drinking hot stuff. I don't believe there was ever drainage, but as I mentioned there were times after procedure when it was very painful and swollen, I had to take antibiotics, and also a steroid shots. Another thing happened recently, a top gum/tooth above it got really painful about 2 months ago as well, there was some drainage in that area, and I did a heavy duty oil pulling/silver/oregano/etc that eventually cleared it off. I don't know if it's related.... Root canal is not completed (still has medicine in it). I have been doing oil pulling every day with coconut oil. |

I would also take a good brand of essential oil (Young Living is what I use but they're pricey)...and apply to the outside of the tooth area, quite often. It will soak through the skin and get in there to help kill the infection. You can apply peppermint oil on top to help push it inside. Also, a damp cloth on top of the spot, after you apply the oil, pushes the oil in. "We are the music makers. And we are the dreamers of dreams." Willy Wonka |

Thank you Organic coconut oil, melt it let cool use like a rinse for mouth I don't melt mine, just take a tablespoon of coconut oil and put it in your mouth, and start pulling for 20 minutes per day. Recently, I had very bad tooth pain around one of my nerves around the tooth. Nothing worked to relieve it. Started coconut oil pulling, and the relief was IMMEDIATE, as in, right from the first pulling I was actually able to drink hot or cold fluids without agony, as well as eat something and chew on that side with no pain. It's to a point now where I almost have no pain at all on that side, and trust me, that is unbelievable, considering the pain I was going through. I think I must have had a lot of bacteria around that tooth, as the more I do the oil pulling, the better my teeth and gums feel throughout my mouth. Give it a try, OP. You have nothing to lose. You can also do oil pulling with olive oil or sunflower oil if you don't have any coconut oil on hand, but I recommend the coconut oil over all oils. Good luck, and hope you find something to bring you some relief! Lots of great suggestions in this thread! |

John Kimble User ID: 1516308 Netherlands 02/06/2013 09:50 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | been struggling with a retarded front tooth for years now. Thousands of dollars and endless appointments with the dentist cause I fell on a bench on broke of part of my front teeth. The fake stuff constantly broke. Eventually got a crown. Costed a couple of procedures and a awefull amount of money. That broke like 10 times. Some operations I had bad reaction to the anaesthetics and got huge swollen face. One operation that resulted in a nasty abces with put me in agonising pain for days. So after that all operations are with minimal anaesthetics, it works but it means I do start to feel stuf at the end of the procedure. Than they put in a metal one that didn't break for about 2 years. Also very pricy, my dentist was kind enough to pay for all the broken ceramic crowns. Than my entire tooth broke off after trying to drink from a canteen. Had a root canal and fake one put in which took about 4 operations, all with minimal anaesthetics and in some a decent amount of pain at the end when they get all the shavings out of your gums with a nasty little bastard hook. Moral of the story, don't fuck around with tooth problems. This one little problem, something as small as a broken fron tooth, has been haunting me for 14 years. I'm da party poopa |
