-missile bases, North Korea-manned special metal alloy factories and so on.

Yes, and to add a little more on that, (if one looks at the much older manuscript - the Septuagint - written several hundred years earlier than the manuscripts used to translate our modern Bibles), the key verse (says that antichrist is not the one that confirms the covenant...rather (time) itself shall do so; meaning that "time" will verify/establish this prophecy as being the "real deal".):

"And one *week shall establish the covenant with many: and in the midst of the week my sacrifice and drink offering shall be taken away: and on the Temple ( ) the abomination of desolation;..."

(*week is the english translated word from the Hebrew; meaning grouping of seven years...heptad (like if I said, decade, you'd know I was referring to ten years)).

Fascinating also that the Vatican is signing (real estate) deals with the Israeli's, including land/buildings in-and-around the TM.
