There will be NO Financial Meltdown!! It will not be allowed. For those out there who are still dilusional enough to believe that the financial markets are still freely traded and are actually reflective of economic reality -- get serious! The markets are totally under the control of central banks and financial institutions. All one has to do is look inside the earnings reports of the big brokerage houses and see what portion of their profits are derived from propriatary trading and one will see the truth. The government simply can not afford a financial meltdown as it would lead to social instability and unrest. Too many of the PTB have a vested interest in price stability and everything appearing to be smooth.

What is more likely is a slow and painful fleecing that draws out our value to TPTB incrementally so that we don't realize it until too late. Such as gas prices sucking up our savings and other games.

Guess that has been going on now for several years. U.S. person has negative savings average and credit card debt of several thousand.
