I know what you mean by moving it up in the topic, but how do I do this? I don't know if I can edit this without having an account. If you know, please explain. greetings Fred Flintstone I was referring to GeoMag's posting of the "Holy Carp" pic |

According to that website, there is no meteorshower until the latter half of April (Lyrids). And that one has about 25 meteors an hour. There are already more ones on those graphs now!! It's a shame it's misty here and I don't know if it will clear up tonight. If it will clear I have a look outside and check for myself how many I see in an hour. |

Quoting: gomja'bar Thanks, yeah I started watching again since that strike in Russia. Last year during those meteorshowers I didn't see those anomalies, But I must admid I looked then only on the Merriot graph. This one by the way isn't updating anymore. Greetings Fred Flintstone |

Normaly you only see spikes, like on the other graphs, but this one took more then 20 minutes and the amplitude was also high. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 24941531 Here is an explanation of the graphs, down on this page. [link to www.meteorscan.com] Greetings Fred Flintstone i also commented on this yesterday... it is very strange as it has continued to generate these now for over 24 hours??!! maybe a glitch tho... but all very weird.. i would have hoped if it had been a glitch then they would have corrected it or brought the link down? i dont know all i know is if its correct summin is up BIG!! |

Look at the last picture I posted, it's on a different graph. If there was something wrong with the censor on that Tamworth graph why is it now showing on that other graph too? If I am correct, you were the one who lived near Tamworth? How is your weather? Greetings Fred Flintstone |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 34341194 United Kingdom 02/17/2013 10:05 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | When I checked the Meteor Detection Grid this morning, the Tamworth grap shows some weird pictures. It goes on for several minutes now. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 24941531 [link to www.merriott-astro.co.uk] What is going on up there? Greetings Fred Flintstone Funny you should mention the Tamworth graph, i was watching all of them the day of the meteor, as soon as i saw the news i fired the page and streemed the audio, and watched for a few hours, activity was quite high compared to normal, a couple of big chunks after....but i digress I was tempted to take a shot of the tamworth graph that day, cos it had a sine wave on it, i watched for a while, and each refresh showed the sine wave was moving with the data, so it wasn't a glitch....it was a PERFECT SINE WAVE!! What could that be? |

The impact did not spark a geomagnetic storm. Nevertheless, sky watchers around the Arctic should be alert for auroras as Earth passes through the wake of the disturbance. Aurora alerts: text, voice. But i admit, that I realy don't know what influece this has on those censors. I hope someone could realy explain this. Greetings Fred Flintstone |

Should prove to everybody once and for all that our planet is in the junk belt debris stream and many rocks are going to be decending upon us. What happened in Russia is only the beginning. There have been more meteor sightings on this planet in the last 6 mnths than at any other time that I can remember. Stay alert and watch the Sky's. 5 Stars for you OP. |

He was a true icon of my country, and a great front-fighter for sustainable energie/technology and humanism. "Yes, we have hurdles, we have distractions, we have disasters, personally and world-wide, and we do have to work it all out ourselves. BUT, there is a most amazing experience awaiting us on the other end of the finish-line. The idea being, once we can handle it all down here, then we can live and explore eternally, responsibly, because we know what not to do, and not be resentful about being responsible, so we don't start a polarity domino effect in the other realms of existence."
