It's like asking the Argentinians if they want to remain Argentinian or if they'd like to now be Bolivian. What other outcome will there be? ...plus the 30% inflation rate in Argentina is a bit of a bummer... It's got fuck-all to do with Obama anyway... Propaganda has to be popular and has to accommodate itself to the comprehension of the least intelligent of those whom it seeks to reach... |

That's bullshit, the Argies never owned or occupied them! For a few centuries they were used as temporary ports by the French and Spanish, but when the British first occupied them, nearly 200 years ago, these are the inhabitants they found: "Also taken on board, Duncan reported, "were the whole of the (Falklands') population consisting of about forty persons, with the exception of some 'gauchos', or cowboys who were encamped in the interior." The group, principally German citizens from Buenos Aires, "appeared greatly rejoiced at the opportunity thus presented of removing with their families from a desolate region where the climate is always cold and cheerless and the soil extremely unproductive". So the present inhabitants, although they may be of British descent, are the only people who ever lived here properly and established a community. It's not even in Agentinian territorial waters. |

His family allege he was tortured by his British guards to extract information about the insurgency. “The African warders were instructed by the white soldiers to whip him every morning and evening till he confessed,” said Sarah Onyango, Hussein Onyango’s third wife, told the Times. Mrs Onyango, who Mr Obama calls Granny Sarah, described how “white soldiers” carried out “disciplinary action”. “He said they would sometimes squeeze his testicles with parallel metallic rods. They also pierced his nails and buttocks with a sharp pin, with his hands and legs tied together with his head facing down,” she told the paper. [link to www.telegraph.co.uk] Wow. It was only after Israel kicked their ass every time the Arabs attacked them that they decided that yeah, having their own state might not be a bad idea. |
