Quoting: Anonymous Coward 19138044 The USSA needs to stop giving North Korean "leaders" fissionable nuclear reactor cores, supplies for their military. I don't think global capitalists are going to take advice from some working punter in a fringe economy. Not from Latvia...that's just my server. I don't think the global capitalists are in charge. Try the council of 13 or the black pope. They aren't interested in life or Earth anyway so you got that part right. They have their sights on the afterlife and polluting the comos with their ideals and pagan nazi lucifeian agenda. You have to admit, they are doing a good job of destroying all good that mortal life offers. |

If you really want a scenario to stir the pot: Consider drones with the capability of 36 hours of loiter time - that's more than enough time to make the flight, flying below radar, loaded with any peculiarity of weaponry, that would never rise an eyebrow of those currently watching for the launch of ICBM. An additional factor in this purely hypothetical scenario is the shutting down the Southern Defense on the 15th of this month. MuslimAmerican User ID: 26542172 United States 03/30/2013 05:06 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Seems like there's a lot more to this than what's being told as usual. Still don't think much will happen, they know if they do anything(or in some cases like Vietnam, Iraq, etc. don't do anything) they'll be dealing with a multi-nation invasion if the US decides to go through with demolishing another smaller impoverished nation. Cannot blame them for the tough talk, the people supposedly elected by us have been threatening and starving the people of North Korea for years, the whole population has suffered many horrible conditions because of the US sanctions(again Iraq, Libya, etc.). Right this moment in North Korea there are orphans dying in the streets from the same starvation and lack of medical care that killed their parents, many more just like them will follow along with the same horrific slow death as them because of these criminal sanctions. Real Americans should be showing their asses in DC about this, we're already about to lose the dollar this is just going to speed things up and we're killing innocent people everyday just like the other countries we're illegally occupying. Only ONE nation has ever attacked other countries using nuclear weapons, it's been the US every-time. Anonymous Coward User ID: 29725520 Japan 03/30/2013 05:10 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It's been at war for fifty years. Old news. They're trying to provoke things. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1384020 This. I was in the Navy, and even worked as an Operations guy to boot. I have a lot of experience looking at battle plans, etc. and real world experience dealing with the tactical implications of political situations like this. The bottom line is that North and South Korea have pretty much still been at war for many years. The end of the conflict was a cease fire, and basically ended in a stalemate meaning the war never really ended. Unlike a boxing match that can be called a draw, in war there never really is a draw. What usually ends up happening after a cease fire is that both sides hold a grudge against the other side, and conflict is thus always a persistent possibility. That's what the DMZ is all about, and for all this time conflict could have broke out again given the posture of both North and South Korea. All it would take is a strong enough "spark" to set if off. I am not saying that conflict won't erupt this time, because it always was a possibility. What I am saying is that these articles, and the statements by North Korea in no way guarantee that conflict will break out this time. North Korea is well known for talking a lot of shit, and this is pretty much business as usual in my opinion. Take this as you will, it is just one military guy's point of view on it. |

I guess the usa wont have many allies left after the 1st of april, when everyone realises the usa wont PROTECT them, but only retaliate . |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 37142916 I'd give it until Monday morning. The "state of war" announcement hasn't met with much concern from anybody, and there's not much more they can do in terms of rhetoric after that. I'm fully expecting some missile tests or arty firing over the next day or two. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 29725520 Japan 03/30/2013 05:40 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Given this I don't think Japan is very concerned about it, or she would have seen it on the news and mentioned it to me. Honestly N. Korea is making threats constantly, and perhaps some of you are just not aware of this for some reason? I remember during my time in the Navy we increased our posture many times in the Sea of Japan due to threats that they were about to make an attack. You will know if something actually happens, and until then I wouldn't read too much into it. If you run around telling everyone that you know that we are going to war with North Korea, you are just going to end up looking like an idiot if we don't. Doing tests is also not uncommon for N. Korea, and although it's often news it doesn't really mean much of anything. The US also does missile tests, etc. it's just part of training and exercises. |

Is this mostly just a role playing site or something, with someone like me being the minority? I see lots of cute and/or funny pictures and videos etc. but not much meat and potatoes when it comes to serious truth seeking. Perhaps the "Lunatic Fringe" part is more accurate than the "Conspiracy Theorists" part of the site description. Forgive me since I am kind of new here. |

Then you've not been looking very hard, irregardless just because one single ignorant person doesn't know something about a country nearly on the other side of the globe does not change the fact of what's going on there on the ground. The only possible way of not seeing anything about it is if you're completely incapable of "googling" or picking up a newspaper, the US itself admits that it is blocking many of the basic goods for survival.
