Obama Considers Resettling Thousands of Syrian Refugees in U.S.

U.S. officials are likely to be extra careful with Syrian refugees. As Islamic militants take a more prominent role in the rebel forces, officials worry about fighters with Al Qaeda ties trying to enter the country. Two resettled Iraqis were convicted of trying to send arms to Al Qaeda from their home in Bowling Green, Ky.

You took in many Nazis after WWII and they have had control since then, why not give refuge to the Rebels that failed (but would have been able to vote in the next 'election')to take Syria and if they aren't given what they were promised then foreign US assets will be harmed. (or some such drama to hide it the same way they hid the CIA/Nazi connection from the soldiers and family of the ones 'on the ground'. I'm pretty sure they would have been quick to agree that the battle was not over and the ICC might take 20 years before all the shit was cleaned up, probably why it was rushed through so quick, the trials stink as much as the other great event that war is remembered for.

Why do we have to take care of these folks? Haven't we learned our lessons with the Russian refugees. You help them, give them tax payer benefits then they turn around and kill and maim you! Let them go to the UK or Russia.

I don't think the officials are worried about fighters with Al Qaeda ties at all...in fact, I think they will let them in with flying colors. I swear that Obummer is turning America into another muslim country. I will say it again...the biggest terrorist act on America would be to turn it into a muslim country. It is already happening in alot of the States. I believe this is the plan, but hopefully I am wrong. At any rate, America is f*****.

My point is that there is far closer places to care for these people. Israel, Saudi Arabia or any other ME country should stand up and take responsibility. We have enough problems caring for our own here in the USA. I am not being mean or trying to deflect the horrors that have taken place in Syria, but things must be taken a face value and there is NO reason to have them here at this point in time.
