Why is this?
Is it because HAARP can only handle one thing at a time? |

I've simply never heard of an earthquake which occurred while it was raining, that's all. |

Quoting: Flight 815 I've only experienced a few minor quakes the largest a 5 pointer. Come to think of it, each time, it was sunny. You might be onto something OP. bookmarking to follow for other input 5 stars |

I agree - in the SF earthquake in '89, in Mexico City 10 and east coast 11 - all sunny days for the earthquakes I experienced |

Imagine an earthquake happening during a hurricane. You wouldn't want to go outside but then you couldn't really stay inside. If you did survive, the building would be damaged and there would be flooding and debris everywhere. |

Quoting: Flight 815 You almost got it. :-D No, it's because when it's sunny, HAARP can achieve more power from solar power plants which provide the electricity. |

because if it were raining and shitty weather at the same time there's an earthquake, Satan would be wasting his resources. everything has been downsized lately. demons cut back to part time. in biblical times there were hail storms, floods, lightning, rocks on fire falling from the sky, earthquakes and tidal waves all at once. most of that was God's Wrath but of course some of it was Satan trying to get his bit in too. you might notice it doesn't happen as often either. |

Quoting: Sensible Coward perhaps there are high pressures over the areas hit by the big quakes at night? it's an interesting thought, but only trawling through loads of EQ and meteorological records will any meaningful connection be made i do remember snow falling during the last big Jap quake on the vids of it though |

I was raised in southern California since 1963. There was a condition that was discernible that was coined 'earthquake weather'. Everything is eerily still, I'd say for an hour or so prior. Maybe even several hours. There seemed to be a light haze also. |

It's just something you pick up on after being through a few quakes, and it's 'common knowledge' about 'earthquake weather' out there. I moved to Maine 14 years ago. We had a pretty decent quake last October. No discernible 'earthquake' weather. This was the popular meme after the quake: [ link to frabz.com] hannah 50, I'm in Ca.,too.
