Looked at the stars and then shooting stars appeared. Quoting: F-BVFA Very pretty shooting stars and very bright they go so quickly maybe half a second at the most and they're gone. I wonder if there will be more tonight? How many days is this?  Wow, thanks for your report. The best one I've seen was about a week ago. Even though they peak at August 12, many sporadic Perseids can be seen for 10 days or more on either side of the peak date. We'll probably have a few stragglers reported next weekend, too. Peace.
