This is a blatant violation of their rights to a peaceful assembly.

Typical police who have been given too much authority and then proceed to abuse their power. Sad we have to see our rights violated every day by these sad, low self esteem, power hungry, little men with badges. Stand up and start changing the status quo, one positive step at a time.

Police are not trained in observing the law. Yeah, they have some legal studies, but it's not like they devote a great deal of their regular training to the most important subject matter: LAW!

They enforce their perceptions of law with zeal, but how can they really be public servants if they don't know it?

Officer Friendly says, "you see I'm a peace officer? I AM THE LAW!"

Do officers really have a legal expectation for citizens to follow orders that are not founded in legal code? Are citizens legally obligated to follow orders that have no legal basis?

Followup question:
ARE OFFICERS PERMITTED TO LIE ABOUT THE LAW IN TO EFFECT OUR SURRENDER TO THEIR ILLUSIONS OF AUTHORITY?

I believe we have no legal expectation for them to be true and honest in their public service. Right?
