You ought to read from page 13 (skip the argument on p. 13 - 14) on up -- I'm on page 18 of a prophecy thread, entitled ' WW3 - New World Order - Pole Shift - Age of Peace (2006-2012) [link to www.forumgarden.com] . The West, as a governed civilization not as individuals, has no moral credibility AT ALL. |

The war is going because they are seen as an OCCUPYING ARMY. US patriots kicked the British forces out of their country. Now Iraqi people are doing the same to the US forces. They have overstayed their welcome and are causing more harm than good. |

2XSecretAgent User ID: 101896 United States 06/06/2006 05:49 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | ***Others say the incident just shows the U.S. has lost he "hearts and minds" of the Iraqi people. "When something like Haditha happens, it gives the impression that Americans can't be trusted to provide security, which is the most important thing to Iraqis on a day-to-day level," says Anthony Cordesman, an Iraq expert at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. "It tends to confirm all of the worst interpretations of the United States, and not simply in Iraq, but also in Afghanistan and in the region."*** We never HAD the hearts and minds of the Iraqi people. And the "impression" is correct. Our troops have been sent to occupy a country and have been turned into monsters to wage war - this is what the military does to people, turns them into killers. Then why are we so surprised when they kill? The repeated tours of duty have done great damage to the hearts and minds of our own soldiers and many will never recover. Keep in mind that this is the signal for another false flag attack on America. Here comes your nuclear 9-11. All in the name of God of course. Be ready. |
Army Vet User ID: 101831 United States 06/06/2006 06:28 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I was in the Army and it is obvious that the immoral way the military is trained is coming back around to take their minds apart. Those bastards thought they could immorally train soldiers and suffer no consequences. Well, they are getting their just desserts…and I don’t mean cake and pie! What greater revenge could I ever want on the military and the way I was treated by those careless immoral bastards. There is no more revenge I could ever want. At least one good thing has come out of this war: All my desire for revenge against the American military has been satisfied. Train soldiers immorally and you end up with soldiers who think nothing of acting immorally during wartime fighting. |

Dr Strange User ID: 51614 United States 06/06/2006 06:51 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This is what happens when human beings fight in a time they are NOT suppose to. We are living in the time of the Soul ...this is suppose to be a time of conscience and peace NOT war. But when they fight against the wave of peace that is SUPPOSE to be here this is what happens. The brutality will only get worse because even though human beings are living in the time of the conscience they are fighting against it because they dont know any other way. Our society for a very long time has taught men that power and strength only came through violence. That real men were hunters and killers first and anything else was "gay" or "girly men" stuff. Movies have done this ....fundamental "christianity" and fundamental religion in general has done it. Governments have done it. Fathers and even mothers and entire societies have drum beat this into mens heads for a very long time. And now see what happens. The devils inside that were bred by society have come to haunt us ....and it will only get worse until some brave people ...men and women start saying ...NO violence is not manly it is NOT brave it is not right at all. Think, talk, dialogue, negotiate, reason, soul search, pray...these are the paths of REAL men and more importantly ...REAL human beings. I also blame this on all those chickenhawks and arm chair 'warriors" that wanted this Iraq war soooo bad ....I blame this on them especially ...those son of a bitches did not stop to think even for a moment of the long term consequences of fighting in these times. They make me sick. Those son of a bitches. Arm chair warriors make me sick. |

Matrix User ID: 101898 Australia 06/06/2006 07:08 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | When Bush said mission accomplished back in 03, all the objectives the Pentagon wanted were achieved and so the military lost interest. The rest from there was just a political show to cover up the fact, that no W.M.D industries existed in Iraq, that the justification used to sell the use of imminent force was false, and so the occupation has been a exercise to prove that America was right for what they did, rather then trying to do what was best for Iraq. The military hearts and minds of Americans were not on the job the day their C.I.C said the real war was won, mission accomplished. If anything this is a imperialistic occupation, with the aim of splitting the Iraqi nation up, so that various corporations can use the chaos to set up the oil and security industries as Iraq's main sources of revenue, while the rest of the country goes to rubble. The act of nation building is not done by soldiers who are trained to kill, but is done by the grass roots of a nation, but I am afraid the U.S inspired Iraqi constitution has already made its mark, and now Iraq will just be a source of cheap oil for the developed nations, with most parts of the country left now to decay in bloody civil war. Freedom and democracy are the buzz words of western nations who use these principals which worked in certain nations, as justification to spread chaos and fear in others where the successes of establishing free trade and democracies of foreign shareholders would be harder to achieve. Democracy and freedom are what the Iraqis are fighting for, what Bush and Blair's version of what those principals are will not win hearts and minds, but will just create more division, more bloodshed and more chaos. The U.S forces are supposed to be there for humanitarian reasons, yet all the Iraqis have seen is the police state; democracy at the point of a gun, and most are starting to see, that life for them is not going to change, but rather only those who collaborate with the agendas of the invader will be protected and provided for, while the rest of the nation who wants true independence and freedom, will be turned into dust. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 65577 United States 06/06/2006 07:25 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It took millions of troops to "tame" Germany after WWII. The failure is not to commit millions of troops to Iraq. We should not have gone if we were not to completely commit our all to it. That all committment historically is only had when a nation really is at threat. |

Wars are won and lost based on who believes they have the greater cause. |
