And yes, it's orbital period is four years, and it has a low orbital inclination to the Earth, and yes it tumbles in space.

Interesting story, there is one big hole in the idea of a deliberate obesity policy...

if our overlords are capable of influencing social programs and they wanted a fat population to feed off, wouldn't they ensure that everyone in the third world got enough to eat? There is enough food out there to feed the whole world, it just doesn't always get distributed. Its only the first world that's obese, and there aren't nearly as many people here as there are in the third world. Hungry off-worlders with the ability to influence policy here on earth would ensure that Sub-Saharan Africans, with their high birth-rates were as overfed as North Americans are.

Ummm...one simple question.

When the earth stops spinning, how do they plan on keeping the atmosphere (which spins along with the planet ya' know) and all the non-bedrock items like houses, trees, cars, cats and so on from scouring the entire surface down to a shiny metal ball?

When a car hits a wall, there is a reson the driver goes through the windshield. Anything not directly attached by a seatbelt is going to keep moving forward at the rate of speed prior to the sudden stop.

I mean 1600 mph winds, houses, trees, cars, cats and milkshakes along with all the water in all the oceans.... would be rather shredding and non-life affirming don't'cha think?

And since only one side of the planet will be facing the sun and the other cold, dark space, and there would be no magnetic field to ward off the solar radiation so pretty much any plant life that is left is going to die and be cooked or frozen anyway and never grow back because of all the salt in the soil from the invading 1600 mph ocean.

At that point if there were any humans left underground???? it would most likely be the "undesirable" politicians and military men. And not 100 million, more like 100 thousand at the very most. No pretty starlets for the space alien stiffies.

I’m the OP of the “Purported Message/Warning from a Young Alien.” I want to extend an apology, and explain why I believe the whole thing was a b.s. set up.

I don’t know specifically who sent the material to me, but I’m just about sure it’s one of three individuals who I am acquainted with. I won’t say friends. Some of the comments which correctly critiqued the Had missive increased my doubt (from 50-50 to 25-75 against), but here’s why I’m sure now that it was some kind of insidious practical joke. I went to Wikipedia and looked up abra cadabra. (I somehow hadn’t thought of this connection until several posters joked about it.) There’s a lot of stuff there about the phrase’s origin, but then they have this:

“The occult movement of Thelema spells the word "Abrahadabra", and considers it the magical formula of the current Aeon. The movement's founder, Aleister Crowley, explains in his essay Gematria that he discovered the word (and his spelling) by kabbalistic methods.”

The middle of abraHADabra is the name given to the kid, which is bracketed by abra-abra. As a bonus to whichever of the three it is –he can say to me, “You’ve been Had!!” All three of the “suspects” are into Crowley, and all know the Sitchin material and doom sci-fi well enough to perpetrate this. And they’re all up to the level of writing required, which is how I know them, because I was in a writing club with them.

So, please accept that I am sincerely sorry.

For anyone requesting that I post the missing paragraphs, what's the point? I've concluded that it was a hoax, and am just awaiting the "gotcha" call or e-mail from the source. It wasn't that interesting anyway. It was a few paragraphs about how he was in trouble at human school, his parents' divorce, and some stuff about how Marduk was great but went nuts, and how Enlil was a big meanie and in charge of Abra now. And that Enki was put under house arrest , then died. If I thought there was any chance it was truth I would post it. The person who sent it, one of the three "Crowleyites" I referred to, know that I consider the Enlil/Enki rivalry in ancient times to be the source of much of our history, and related to some modern happenings, like secret societies. That is why he, or they, baited it with that whole subject. Anyway, it's very clear to me now. Sorry again.

But this story is only something a human could come up with since superior alien races never got to the levels they are at by being evil and negative. Those races usually destroy themselves from within before they get too far technically. Nice true though human.
