BriGuy User ID: 467255 United States 07/29/2008 02:39 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | For the past month or so I have been hearing a very low level humming sound. No one else hears it and I'm starting to wonder WTF is going on. I hear it mostly at night and early morning, because I'm guessing it's the quiet time of the day (night). Quoting: bugging out 433091This humming is not constant, it sounds like an electric motor trying to cycle. I've turned off all the curcuits in the house so I know it's not from within the house. I can even hear it when I'm out in the woods or at the neighbors house. It's really starting to bug me out! And no it's not tinnitus. it could be your computer, your tv, you alarm clock, a sqeaky fan at night... it can be a number of things. you have to unplug and turn everything off around you to tell if it's abnormal in nature. fuck off |

It's like you hear it but it's not in the ears; well, hard to explain. It's a very very very low hum. I noticed I had it previously for about 2 months and it got louder and louder until the Myanmar earthquake. Then it stopped. Now I have it again for the past 3 weeks, and it's still very low. Has not intensified "yet". /C |

They are not visible in light and they are trying to control your mind. Why you ask? They want you to eat more food in order to culture a bacteria that can no longer be found on their home planet this bacteria grows in your small intestine. Why you? Because you are special. "You've felt it your entire life, that there's something wrong with the world. You don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad. “The war we fight today is more than a military conflict,” Mr Bush said. “It is the decisive ideological struggle of the 21st century.” You are a slave..., like everyone else you were born into bondage. Into a prison that you cannot taste or see or touch. A prison for your mind." |

It's so clear to me but every time some one is near I say "did you hear that", they look at me like WTF are you on man. I had to quit waking my wife to ask her cause frankly I think it's starting to freak her out. |

It sound like an electric motor running. I live a long way from cell towers, a long way from town. At first I thought it was coming from the basement, there is a lot of ledge in this area, but I don't hear it down there. I only hear it in the north end of the house. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 457869 United Kingdom 07/29/2008 02:55 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This sort of humming has been heard all over the world from time to time. A few years ago I could hear it her in the North west of England. It was driving me mad because my husband couldn't hear it. Then it was reported in the local papers. Nobody knew what it was and from other stories I've read over the years it seems women are more able to hear it than men. |

SonicEarz User ID: 475524 United States 07/29/2008 03:22 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Think of the sound a donkey makes... "hee-haw" .... now substitute the words with pure, low tones... 2 of them. Sometimes one is sustained longer than the second tone, sometimes not.... I've heard them when the power was completely out in our area, so nothing to do with appliances in the house or surroundings. We do have a cell tower about a mile away as the crow flies. Occasionally, it will modulate wildly, rapid fire sort of effect. Other times, it is slow and steady. Easiest to hear in the bathroom (pipes), and bedroom (inner spring mattress), but I've heard in many rooms, different times of day (if it's quiet). I've heard in my yard and in my car with windows and doors shut. I've even heard them at a friends house who lives 2 miles away. Fortunately, my ceiling fan drowns them out, so I can ignore in the summer... otherwise, it's a real pain in the arse. |
