There were prolly 50 "birds" in all.
There was NO sound. They moved unemcumbered..sorta like a string thats being rolled in..and let out..lie a yo yo..and then they disappeared right from our site. We should have been able to follow them with our eyes..but the just vanished

well, COOL - i am in florida as well ;-) -- i cannot say i saw whatever it was tho ;-( we were camping this weekend and i was taking pictures of the stars, with my camera on a tripod facing up, 2 odd pictures showed up in the middle of a group of otherwise normal ones.I never noticed anything different while i was taking them.

Man i totally saw like 100 birds in the middle of the night about three years ago in the woods. They were glowing like crazy and sort of just soared through the sky without working at it at all. I told only a few people about it cuz it sounds so crazy thanks for telling your stories dude i dont feel so crazy now. this was in washington near the beach i think they may have dived into algae or something cuz it glows at night too....just a thought

My son and I also saw pair of very large birds fifteen years ago. He was ten years old then. It was quite traumatic for him. I thought that I was dreaming, but I pinched myself and I felt it. The birds looked like prehistoric birds. We tell very few people because it sounds so crazy. (And no, I wasn't drinking or taking drugs). It was in Stanford, California. The birds had wing spans on them which were about six feet wide and they seemed to glide effortlessly above our car. They were incredibly close to us, only about ten feet away. There was another car in front of our car. So whoever was in that car must have seen them too.

We thought that there must of been something spiritual about this, but recently there was kind of an explanation. There was a show about similar birds seen in New Guinea. A group of researchers went to hopefully catch one, in hope that they could study them. Hundreds of locals have seen these birds. As several of them were interviewed. Also, there was an eye witness westerner who was interviewed too. The scientists don't really know what they are, but they seemed to believe that there is something to this since so many people have seen them.

This is not an uncommon event.

like, were they multicolored? or did they jsut have an earie glow to them? like a reflection off a streetlemp? cuz if they did, i saw the exact same thing w/a friend tonight! several times! they were flying south and south east and kept changing shape. at first i thought it was a UFO, then my friend said they might be star dragons (whatever that is) and then one flock got really low and we saw the wings. it's winterish, dark and stuff so regular birds wouldn't be here and bats don't fly that way. and just the cold says nothing should be out. what did we see?! o.0

the ability to CHANGE shape while in flight!

I saw them in Myrtle Beach a few nights ago!! Several of us saw them so I know I wasn't seeing things.

I live in richmond indiana and i saw 2 clusters of Glowing birds or so i thought it was birds it never changed shape and after we Spotted it suddenly they bagan to 'fade' i could still see the shape and the glow but it was dimmer.. I was freaked out i was amazed then freaked out it was like it knew we where looking .. Weird i don't think it was birds.. I started to check on info on 'glowing birds' and i found you.. I 'm A little disturbed that what we saw was not a flock of birds.. Who do we call that would take this seriously??

i am in the uk, and at about 9.10pm i saw the sameeee thing about 2 days ago, i couldnt believe what i was seeing after about 7 seconds, they disappeared, if anyoneknows whatthis is or is it a flock of birds or ufos please let me know
