Didn't go over too well, I guess... | Anonymous Coward User ID: 532433 United States10/22/2008 07:06 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | if your connected to a router then you can power down your modem and connect your computer directly to the modem, then renew your IP and it should be different; afterwards turn off modem and turn router back on and log into your router, clone your mac address, renew IP in router, and then rehook back up the modem and power cycle everything. this will work unless your MAC is already cloned in the router in which case do the opposite of what i said. after a couple weeks you can do the opposite procedure and get yet another new IP adress. |
