oh, Ive been trying to get people to watch this movie ever since I first saw it in the theatre a long time ago...


the whole theme of the film and its references to the tribes powers we see today is

REMARKABLE ..

along with how the tribe uses deceptions, control, racisms and intimidations to achieve more and more power/wealth and tribe supporters/ recruiters..

I've been trying to get this from Netflix for months.

Please..watch it/....and notice all the comparisons/ parrellels of the powers in charge today...

IT IS AMAZING...


this sint a film of top notch acting, sets, effects...

it is a prophetic film of the powers in charge behind the scenes...and their goals / weapons...

it seems Carpenter had to use the guise of space aliens, to get the messages out.....and make the comparisons to the real decievers in charge, from our own planet...

Maybe because on pretty much every conspiracy type message board I have ever been on someone always brings up this movie. So it's not like it has never been discussed before. Not shooting you down though just saying.

I think it's a great movie in so many ways. I would have loved to have seen it at the theatre back in the day. John Carpenter made some awesome flicks in the 80's. I have a feeling John Carpenter would fit right in on GLP. Just look at some of the subject matter in his movies such as "The Thing" as well as "Escape From New York".

Most excellent movie - I received that and "Contact" from Amazon about two weeks ago.

Wonderful movie, good taste OP.

One of my favorite movies. I just happened to catch it years ago on P.B.S. in L.A.

It also has one of the longest fight scenes in an alley in the movies. I've forgotten the actors, but the fist fight involves the guy who has a pair of magic glasses that shows the aliens as they are, and another guy who refuses to put the glasses on--he just doesn't want to see the truth.

Three thumbs up for this film.

THIS FILM SHOULD BE SHOWN TO EVERY 10TH GRADER IN AMERICA...

While i am posting here i am watching the movie, is that the title of the movie, They Live, excelent movie, this does deserve a pin.

I really like how the film, not only outlines the evils/ agendas and corruptions/tactics of the TRIBE..

but how the film also points out how easily non tribe members can be seduced with the lures of money/ power...


ie: our so called politicans...

if more americans saw this film, and understood its messages, America could have a shot of surviving its horrific future.
