I have CNN Int'l in the background here and there's nothing being said yet about this earthquake.....seems like something would be said already. They usually are on the ball a lot sooner than national news...

Wow,
Just was reading up on(The Ainu of Hokkaido)or North Island Japan yesterday and did a search for info today on the net.

Lots of good info on these peoples(Ainu)seems they have been treated bad by the Japanese for ever and a day.

From what i could get with only limited time the past couple of days is they were in the original inhabitants of the Japanese islands and were driven north by waves of immigrants from China,Korea and South Asia.

The Ainu are animistic and shamanic and share many beliefs with the Amerindians and the scythian Druids concerning the nature of life.Their principal divine totem is the swan.During the 12th century the Ainu were almost extinct following continued hostilities with invaders.

Their mythology tells them that their was saved by a swan which descended from heaven and mated with the last living Ainu Lord. This coupling produced the Ainu who sti;; occupy Hokkaido Today.

The Ainu have dark hair and almond eyes and are distinctly asian despite their complexions. The remnant of the Ainu who retain pure blood(around 17K are left) are of Aryan pure blood.

Japan finally admits that the Ainu came first(2008)also read some on the DNA testing Japan did a couple years ago, very interesting.

Hope i didnt bend your ears/eyes off the quake, just thought i would throw this info out, seems these peoples are very special.
