Quoting: Anonymous Coward 58109Anyway it all started with 'Rex84'. Google is your friend. This poster makes a good point. FEMA according to my Homeland Security instructor says that FEMA is more of an insurance agency. They have many pros and cons, but don't expect ONE agency to be able to do everything. The H.R. 645 is for no less than six Camps to be built on military installations within six months. FEMA itself was a shitload of agencies joined together as someone pointed out. They do not even have offices in every state and are not prepared to handle mass casualities from man-made or natural disasters. They have gotten better however and are running more drills around the country..so I give them credit for improving, but they have a long way to go as of yet. Whether the FEMA camps as you call them are good or bad..no one really knows...you can read the legislation yourself, but just because I say I like taco bell or Panda Express doesn't mean I am going to eat there. |

There are several serious threats looming out there, and in case the shit hits one would need temporary homes and medical care for millions of people. But of course the ct's can't think that far, it's the nwo and probably the zeta's and god know what dark powers that exists out there. |
himself User ID: 651801 United States 04/07/2009 07:18 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Katrina showed FEMA needs a place to shelter refugees from natural disasters. Shipping New Orleans refugees to Houston for example engendered a crime wave as N-O thugs and gangsta's found Houstoners easy pickings. Same in many other communities. Plus FEMA ended up paying deadbeats hotel bills for more than a year after Katrina, as they found many people prefer 'handouts' to 'a hand up'. Cheaper to take vacant land and build refugee camps. Rather than just ship thugs and gangsta's to innocent cities in future FEMA will try to shelter them in those specially built refugee camps. Paranoids forget that post Katrina crime wave. .................Why is it bad? I'ts bad if you are a thug or gangsta who prefers to run amok amongst decent people. Paranoids who forget that post Katrina crime wave. Cannot imagine anything government does as being an attempt to actually help people, without harming other people. Thus camps instead of busses to Houston & paying deadbeats to live inhotels. |
