Quoting: Chaol If you go 'back' or 'forward' far enough in time the results of the experiment would be completely different, as the result is dictated by our perspective of time. A little confusing, perhaps, but interesting to think about. Not that confusing really. Thanks. |

He hoped to finish the car himself, which is taken apart and in the stage of being rebuilt, but complete. He reckons that he as an experienced non-professional would need another 4 years plus a few thousand euros to get it on the road... Quoting: tuuuuur In the course of our visit he threw in a few other extra parts, books, and his advice in the offer if we'd decide to buy... Which he asked us to think through well, but he wanted us to let him know within a week or so. Now I try to make a symbol for it. Would that scarab bead work? My idea is to wind some thread through it's hole, and stick a colorfoul piece of felt or string through it each morning (or evening). Sounds ok? Hi. What would represent your interactive element? I thought it would be the piece of felt I add each day... Lots! Not a model of this particular one, but lots of toy cars. I could stick the bead in a toy truck I have, and take it with me... showing it to others and having them interact with it too would help as well, if I recall correctly? |

Past and future are values in the "now". There is nothing besides now, though we do not actually experience it. We experience a perspective that can be represented, whereas "now" is without representation. So you could say that you can only experience something that does not exist ;) hope this isn't confusing |

Sounds like it will be a contributor the great change in my opinion. Quoting: Issius Ulmonus What is that? No use explaining here, no one here seems familiar with alchemy. ha ha Sometimes we ask questions because defining it for yourself will help you to obviate the answer. Another question, If the left hemisphere of the brain brings the chaos into order through singular perspective, and the right transforming order into chaos through infinite possibility by inter-action. What is the result when the two are in sync? Quoting: Chaol The Chaol response would be that the left and right do not have pre-assigned roles. The hemispheres of the brain are more like tints in perspective much the same way that leaves on a tree usually have a top and bottom. The leaves are not fulfilling a role or doing their pre-assigned duty but it's the most efficient way for you to perceive that particular value. (The more efficient it is the more absolute it seems, I think.) A singular perspective is never achieved. You could say that what seems to be a singular perspective is comprised of a variety of individual perspectives working together. Both the right and the left perform the same functions but only one "waiter" delivers your meal, so to speak. It is usually the one that took your order in the beginning, because the taking and delivery are two ways to perceive the same thing. The two hemispheres of the brain only seem to have separate functionality from the perspective that experiences the separation, the same way that "top" is always on top to you even though (in the big scheme of things, in space for example) top is irrelevant. So basically both sides do the same job. They are one and the same. But when the left performs a function that you think the right should perform it is perceived in a different way because you have chosen to divide that particular value (physical mind) into easier-to-experience parts. Alchemy is the art of imitating and accelerating nature. Philosophers Stone is a substance(powder) that transmutes other substances into a their perfect state. There are two versions of the Philosophers Stone, which is the white stone and the red stone. The white(moon;female) transmutes any metals into silver. And the red(sun;male) into gold. The Stone is simply a concentrated and highly developed form of energy, which is the true nourishment of all things that grow(mineral, plant, animal). It is the universal medicine for the mind, body, and spirit. Unlimited life-energy. I could go on, but I think you get the just. I will respond about the brain in a second lol (Edited because of annoying typos) |

Yes I understand they do the same job. But each side does it's job in 2 totally different ways. Opposite in fact. Words vs Images. You are trying to explain to a person what A tornado is. But they speak a different language? You would communicate by imagery. Drawing, hand gestures. Now imagine that you both speak the same language, but instead you call it a twister. The other person thinks you mean the game, but you clarify to the person that the word 'twister' a synonym for a tornado. That's a prime example about how the two hemispheres perform the same function in a different manor. We live in a left hemisphere dominant right-handed society. Linear thinking. This will not do for creation. Both hemispheres in equal balance is what i'm getting at. |
