The oddest thing about it is that the "alien abductors" morph between aliens and owls. Hmmmmmmmm. Quoting: Ethericplane 820734Now HAARP went on line in Alaska in the late 1990's. HAARP is not just a weather experiment it is also a mind control experiment run by the Illuminati and the NSA. The well known symbol of the Illuminati is the Owl, seen regularly from the Bohemian Grove rituals. Whistle blowers from our government have said for years that the Illuminati is operating under the false scenario that aliens have abducted over 70,000 Americans when actually it is the Illuminati abducting Americans and putting implants in them. The implants are just more mind control experiments. After all, why would aliens need to abduct 70,000 people? Tentative conclusion: The Illuminati started experimenting on Alaskans right near HAARP in Alaska. They are simply testing the limits of their new toy. They are using aliens in their experiments to scare, manipulate, test their powers, test their ability to project ideas, visions, thoughts, feelings into humans for the purpose of population control and to destroy. They also need to test the reactions of psychologist, who always seem to misdiagnose the problem, as we have in this movie. I think the movie is true, but the aliens do not exist. Its is our own fucking government again trying to mess with us. Yes? |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 515108oh, that was the BEST fictional television EVAR, my goodness, it's like visual fastfood,,MORE reminded me of my very early mind controlled programming of dark shadows tv fame, as we came RUNNING home from the bus to catch the first seconds of the vampire soap opera . .. twin peaks was just such control, 'cherry pie' indeed. |

Not that they were seeing owls literally...that's just what their mind threw in there to stop them from the total meltdown that comes with ET abduction. Why owls? They have big eyes that see in the dark. Looks like a grey... It's not about HAARP...it's about their experience with ET and abduction. Nobody in the movie was mind controlled. Why do they abduct people? Who knows many a theory on that. If they are real and abducting people I doubt its for anything other than their own personal agenda. That being said. This movie is just down right scary! I personally was surprised by the quality. I think the authors purpose was to get you to question whether or not aliens do in fact exist. I don't think there is an validity to the characters. Just a movie based on plausible realities. /end rant "When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace." - Jimi Hendrix |

But anyway....LOVED this movie! And if you know anything about ancient Sumer and the Mesopotamian culture it added even more to the storyline. Remember, the alien did state: "I am Anu....I AM............God." He was a chief sky god. I think it is a multifaceted movie and was meant to be interpreted in many ways, everything symbolic had more than one meaning. Yes, they large eyes do remind many of the grays. But also the owl played a large part in ancient culture. It was often seen as an ill omen (I'm not referring to Lilith). These are descriptions of foul spirits (no pun intended)taken from ancient Mesopotamian: "They are gloomy, their shadow dark, no light is in their bodies, ever they slink along covertly, walk not upright, from their claws drips bitter gall, their footprints are (full of) evil venom.. Neither males are they, nor females, they are winds ever sweeping along, they have not wives, engender not children, know not how to show mercy, hear not prayer and supplication.... The shivers and chills (of death) that fritter the sum of things, spawn of the god of heaven, spawned on an evil spirit, the death warrants, beloved sons of the storm god, born of the queen of the netherworld, who were torn out of heaven and hurled from the earth as castoffs, are creatures of hell, all. Up above they roar, down below they cheep, they are the bitter venom of the gods, they are the great storms let loose from heaven, they are the owl(of ill omen)that hoots in the town, spawn spawned by the god of heaven, sons born by earth are they. Over high roofs, over broad roofs like a flood wave they surge, from house to house they climb over, Doors do not hold them, locks do not restrain them... through the doors they glide like snakes, through the hinge boxes they blow like wind. From the man's embrace they lead off the wife, from the man's knee they make the child get up, and the youth they fetch out of the house of his in-laws, they are the numbness, the daze, that tread on the heels of man." They have been here for a very long time. |
