It's bothered me since it aired, can anyone make sense of it ?

I don't feel like watching an episode of this god-awful show...so, if you would be so kind...

What was the context? Why were they showing the prices of precious metals? Was it part of the show?

manipulation at the moment it aired....

I've been noticing a pattern for the past couple months where the price of gold and silver will DROP to the exact same amount regardless of the price difference.

For gold it drops to 931.50...evertime, and silver drops to 13.36.

In fact, if you look right now...its happening. YTD chart

perhaps it is my program..although all indicators drop to the floor as well.

MACD, SS, ROC, DMI...all on the floor

The challenge was to weigh out $5000.00 (don't quote me on the amount) worth of gold at the current exchange rate (which is changing all the time).

Anyone with a calculator could do it.

The issue I have is the prices were up on the screen, just as we'd watch prices on the NYSE go up and down, but the price of silver was 438.00, not the 16 or 17.00 that it was trading here at the time.

Gold was over 900.00, silver was near 17.00, why would they have had Silver at over 400.00?

Probably just a case of ignorance in the production team.

Or maybe OMG SILVER WILL GO UP 2500% and gold, uh, won't do much.

Looks like 2014, though the dates listed are 2010, 2011, 2013 and 2014. 2012 looks to be skipped.

my first thought was the price was not in USD, but then gold would have been sky high and not lower.

Weird.

Or may be we will have to eat with sliver cutlery to avoid death causing the price to sky rocket.
(Silver has good antibacterial properties).
