Original Message The Constitution says this:

No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President;

Amendment 14 - Citizenship Rights. Ratified 7/9/1868

1. All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.

So since the 14th amendment,

we are all:

citizens of the United States

-not-

a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States

If it does not matter if Citizen starts with an upper or lower case C then why did they change it.

Im pretty sure we have not had a legit POTUS since the 14th amendment in 1868.
