[quote:Anonymous Coward 757124:MV8xMDA4Njc1XzE1ODc1MzYxX0JBMzhBRDc4] [quote:Anonymous Coward 857236] After spending some decent time on this forum I must agree with Billy. We need to make education a priority, make college free for all who wish to attend, OR wipe out the uneducated consumers. Doubt either will happen anytime soon and it's far easier to control and uneducated populace. Sorry. :( As long as we start with you, I'm fine with that.
Yeah yeah. Common post to anyone who supports cleaning up our society. If I'm the dumbest, most unproductive person in society, I'd be happy to off myself to make the world a better place. Good thing I'm not. At least I can spot an airplane in the sky without thinking it's an alien ship or some other fairy tale. I know when the moon is going to show up and it's REGULAR cycle. I'm smart enough not to believe in these "nibiru" videos people keep posting. I'm smart enough to understand WHY a contrail appears and why it sometimes stays in the sky. I can go on and on. Plenty of dumbasses to rid ourselves of before we get to me.
One of the world's wealthiest men and the founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates, has suggested vaccines as one method of reducing the world's population.
Gates made his remarks to the invitation-only Technology, Entertainment and Design 2010 Conference in Long Beach, Calif. His February address was titled, "Innovating to Zero!"
He presented a speech on global warming, stating that CO2 emissions must be reduced to zero by 2050. Gates said every person on the planet puts out an average of about five tons of CO2 per year.
"Somehow we have to make changes that will bring that down to zero," he said. "It's been constantly going up. It's only various economic changes that have even flattened it at all. So we have to go from rapidly rising to falling, and falling all the way to zero."
A video of his presentation follows:
