As we come closer to the plane of the galactic center, the solar system is hurled forth at ever increasing cosmic speeds. Beyond imagine speeds difficult for us to even calculate. The satellites used to see 12 hours into the future, now it's going on 28 hours, 29, 30 hours even days and weeks before we reach 2012. That is what has been calculated, like a giant continuous flash forward.
