Original Message I found the whole Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster quite funny at first, I even became a 'Pastafarian' and made a few satirical posts myself, but something soon dawned upon me: I realized that Satan uses many tricks - including humor - to make people laugh and warm towards him so that they will be led into his trap. Setting the humor aspect aside of the whole mock religion, the whole thing is designed to make a mockery of God and all the goodness which he stands for. When you laugh at God, you see him as a joke, and therefore you move away from him and into Satan's hands.

Precisely what he wants.
