Original Message 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ

CHRIST MEANS THE ANNOINTED ONE
THAT IS WHAT ROMAN CATHOLIC PRIESTS CLAIM THAT THEY ARE THE ANNOINTED ONE.

Taking The Place Of Christ On Earth

In addition, the Roman Catholic Church teaches that the Pope, titled Vicarius Christi (which is synonymous with the word Antichrist), takes the place of Jesus Christ on Earth:

... We [the pope] hold upon this earth the place of God Almighty, ...

Another authentic papal title is Vicarius Filii Dei (Vicar of the Son of God), which equals 666 (Rev. 13:18) when the Roman numeral value of the letters are added up. It has a long documented history of use by the Roman Catholic Church, and was used most recently by Pope Paul VI in two Apostolic Constitutions, which are the highest form of official Papal decree in the Roman Catholic Church. For the details see: 666, The Number of the Beast. [link to biblelight.net]

Ask a Catholic a question about the Holy Father, and they will likely think you are talking about the Pope, yet this title is used only one time in all of scripture (John 17:11), and it refers not to any man, but to God the Father. The application of this title to anyone but God is a blasphemous antichrist usurpation.

It is also a papal teaching that not just the Pope, but every Catholic priest is, in fact, another Christ:

12. ... Thus the priest, as is said with good reason, is indeed "another Christ"; for, in some way, he is himself a continuation of Christ. ...

Conclusion

By denying Mary was a sinner in need of a redeemer, Roman Catholicism denies Jesus Christ is come in the flesh, and this is the deceptive teaching and spirit of antichrist that John spoke of:

1 John 4:2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
1 John 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

2 John 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

And by teaching that the Catholic priest is "another Christ" and that Mary is a Mediatrix, Advocate, and Co-redemptrix, placing her between God and mankind and dispenser of all grace, the Roman Catholic Church fits this characteristic identified by John:

1 John 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
1 John 2:23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father:
