[quote:Anonymous Coward 947198:MV8xMDQyMjg4XzE2NTExMTkwXzgyODQ5M0NG] [quote:Anonymous Coward 802742] Please do your homework! Volcanologists have warned the eruptions from Mount Eyjafjallajokull could continue for months with activity possibly intensifying this week, probably on Tuesday and Wednesday. Images from the this morning (above) show the first hints that the plume of ash from the Eyjafjallajokull might be dying down. While the eruption is still going on the webcam no longer shows a high column of steam and smoke, but rather shows ash slowly rolling off the summit. Above is a screen shot from 9.30am this morning. Compare it to the one below from Saturday, which shows the plume being powered high into the atmosphere.
