Original Message Well......I got my new garden fence put in, spent and pretty penny , thought I knew what I was doing, went to Home Depot and the guy there tells me I needed pressure treated wood (gothic pickets), so....believing him I bought all this wood. Had someone build it around my vegetable garden.

It is up and looks great, really! BUT........I found out that the chemicals in this wood leach into food, and you are not to even handle this wood with your bare hands. I can't believe Home Depot told me this is fine!

So, now I am having it torn down....courtesy of Home Depot (thank you Home Depot), and now I am at square one again!

What type of garden fence is easy ( for a little girl such as myself) to put up and will keep pest and a big german shep out of it????

HELP??? Thank you for your help, I really need it!
